Telangiectases are tiny red "spider veins" or vascular blemishes
which commonly appear in the corners of the eyes or on the surface
of the ears and cheeks exposed to sunlight.
Telangiectases can have a variety of causes:
- health & disease
- aging
- sun & light exposure
- skin injury
- extremes in environmental temperatures
- alcohol
- medication
- surgery
- and that ever bothersome factor, heredity.
Although these telangiectases are harmless, their unique appearance
can be frustrating, and Barbara's Electrology Studio in Mission Viejo, Orange County can help.
